The first featured artist single from AON: THE GATHERING is now available for download. A landmark moment for the Social Compact.
We said we would do this. Today, we did it.
Foggie, sung by Adele Henderson of Aberchirder, is now available for download. It is the first featured artist single released from AON: THE GATHERING.
"We said we would do this. Today, we did it. The Social Compact is no longer a promise. It is a product, a song, and a singer from the village it was written about."
This is a landmark moment for Finn Moray and the Social Compact. It marks the point where the model moves from concept to delivery. A song written about a place, sung by a person from that place, generating value that flows back into that place.
Foggie was written about the village of Aberchirder, known locally as Foggie. It was composed, arranged and produced as part of AON: THE CALL. And now, through AON: THE GATHERING, the song has been given to a local voice. Adele Henderson, a mum of two from the village, has made it her own.
That is the model. That is the compact in action.
With this release, the Social Compact enters a new era. The songs come from the people. The songs go back to the people. The people connected with the songs take them and make them their own.
This is not about one person. It is about a structure that works. A structure where talent is found, supported and given a platform. Where communities benefit. Where music does more than entertain.
Adele is the first. She will not be the last.
Foggie is available for download now at £2. 50% of net profits go directly to community causes chosen by Finn Moray.
If you believe in what we are building, this is the simplest way to support it. Buy the song. Share it. Tell someone.
