The Tartan Army anthem has its voice. One of Scotland's most recognised performers confirmed as the singer behind The Bard #2, the official SFSA World Cup song.

Finn Moray today announces Ted Christopher as the sixth featured artist on AON: THE GATHERING, confirming one of Scotland's most recognised and respected performers as the voice behind The Bard #2, the project's official Scottish Football Supporters Association World Cup song.
Ted joins the line-up following his selection through the national competition delivered in partnership with the Scottish Football Supporters Association. In doing so, he steps into a role that feels both earned and inevitable. A Scotland supporter through and through, and a figure long associated with the Tartan Army, he now carries a song built for Scotland's supporters, its history and its humour.

"I'm delighted to be chosen and genuinely honoured to be part of AON: THE GATHERING. I really enjoyed the interview with Richard Gordon and the Finn Moray team, and recording the vocals at Captain Tom's in Aberdeen with Paul Emerson and David Sheret was a brilliant experience. It's a special project and I'm proud to be involved."
"We're absolutely delighted to see Ted Christopher and Finn Moray come together. Ted is a true voice of the Tartan Army and a Scotland supporter through and through. He understands what it means to represent the fans, and we could not think of a better artist to carry that spirit into this project."
Born and raised near Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and Bannockburn, Ted brings a distinct sense of place and identity to the project. His connection to Scotland's story is not abstract. It is lived, performed and shared across decades on stages large and small.
A performer of rare range, Ted is as comfortable delivering heartfelt original material to a concert audience as he is leading thousands in song before a Scotland match or filling a packed dance floor with a broad pop and rock repertoire. His career reflects that contrast. One week he performed to 750,000 people on The Mall in Washington DC. The next, a small audience in Cowie Miners Welfare. Both, by his own account, were great gigs.
His work has consistently shown how music can carry meaning beyond performance. From touring globally with Bannockburn, widely regarded as Scotland's premier Celtic party band, to recording Knocking on Heaven's Door at Abbey Road with musicians from Dunblane, a choir of schoolchildren and Mark Knopfler on guitar, Ted's music has held grief, protest, community and hope in the same breath.
Ted's contribution to The Bard #2 brings more than a voice. It brings history, credibility and connection. It is a song designed for the moment, but grounded in something much older.
With this announcement, Finn Moray continues to assemble a line-up that reflects Scotland in full. Local voices, national identity and global reach, brought together through music and shared purpose.
