Your Chance to Sing Two Stars On Our Chest with the Legends of Gothenburg

Terry McDermott, Jim Leighton MBE, John Hewitt, Neil Simpson, Paul Lawrie OBE MBE and Richard Gordon will record backing vocals at Captain Tom's. Five fans can join them.

Finn Moray is offering five Aberdeen FC fans the chance of a lifetime: sing on the backing vocals of Two Stars On Our Chest alongside Terry McDermott, Gothenburg greats Jim Leighton MBE, Neil Simpson and John Hewitt, Open Champion Paul Lawrie OBE MBE and BBC broadcaster Richard Gordon. The session takes place at Captain Tom's Recording Studio in Aberdeen on Monday 18 May 2026.

Terry McDermott Revealed as the Voice of Two Stars On Our Chest

The Pitmedden-raised, New Orleans-based singer known to millions from NBC's The Voice will sing unofficial Aberdeen FC tribute anthem on AON: THE GATHERING

Terry McDermott is a Pitmedden-raised, New Orleans-based singer who first came to prominence as the vocalist of Driveblind, the Aberdeen band who went to America and signed a major record deal with Geffen Records. He went on to reach a major American audience as runner-up on Season 3 of NBC's The Voice. A lifelong Aberdeen FC supporter, Terry brings international stature, north-east roots and a proper red heartbeat to Two Stars On Our Chest, the unofficial tribute anthem written about the club and its immortal 1983 European triumph. His selection was made possible through the connection between Ally Begg, David Sheret and the wider Aberdeen community that surrounds the project.
