It is a legally binding commitment, governed under Scots law, that guarantees 50% of all net profits generated by the project — from music sales, merchandise, streaming, and events — are returned to Scottish community causes. AON: THE CALL is the debut album by Finn Moray — 15 original songs written, arranged, and produced by David Sheret. The songs began as acoustic compositions and were brought to life digitally with the help of producer Mariano Beyoglonian using DAWs and AI. The tracks use synthesised voices to establish each song, find the right talent to sing them, and drive early revenue to support the wider project. AON: THE CALL is about using technology to discover talent and build the foundation for everything that follows. It is available now on CD (£12), vinyl (£50), and digital download (£12).

AON: THE GATHERING is the second album — the live evolution of AON: THE CALL. Local singers from the areas that inspired each song replace the synthesised voices, driving the music deeper into the community. These featured artists bring more soul, more heart, and a genuine sense of place. The Gathering is about returning support to the communities that inspired the songs and that are home to the featured artists — using technology to find talent, then letting that talent take ownership of the music. AON: THE GATHERING is currently in production.

The Unsung Singer is a community nomination initiative to discover hidden singing talent across Scotland. If you know someone whose voice deserves wider recognition — someone who sings in the community but has never had the platform — you can nominate them on our Unsung Singer page. Every nomination is personally reviewed, and shortlisted singers may receive opportunities to collaborate on future Finn Moray projects, recordings, or events.

How are featured artists on AON: THE GATHERING rewarded?

Featured artists on AON: THE GATHERING benefit in two ways. First, 25% of net profits from all AON: THE GATHERING-related income (album sales, merchandise, and tours) goes into a shared pot, divided between all featured artists. Second, each featured artist receives an individual 25% bonus from the net profit generated by their specific song — so the more they promote their track, the more they individually benefit. This 25% shared pot comes from Finn Moray's end, reducing the project's share from 50% to 25% for THE GATHERING. Crucially, the 50% going to good causes remains completely untouched. It is a structure designed to be fair for the artists whilst protecting the commitment to community.

Pins are colour-coded: copper means a featured vocalist has been confirmed for that location's song on AON: THE GATHERING; grey means the voice is still to be awarded.

You are then matched to a song from AON: THE CALL and given a personalised, shareable identity card. It is a fun way to connect with the music and find your place on the map.

The AON Passport is a digital stamp collection you build by exploring the Finn Moray website. You earn stamps by visiting pages, listening to music, taking quizzes, and supporting Scottish communities. Stamps are organised into categories — Explorer, Listener, Community, Supporter, and Discoverer — and as you collect more, you unlock reward tiers. It is a way to track your journey through the Finn Moray world.

The quiz has a leaderboard, and completing it earns you a stamp in your AON Passport.

Each participant in the Finn Moray project — whether a vocalist, team member, or award winner — nominates their own Scottish charity or community cause. The 50% community share of net profits is then directed to those nominated causes. This means the giving is personal, local, and directly connected to the people involved. The Social Compact requires transparent annual reporting on all distributions.

Because our digital products (music downloads) begin delivery immediately, the right to cancel is waived once the download has started, in line with UK consumer regulations. If you receive a faulty or corrupted file, you can request a replacement or refund within 7 days by emailing finn@finnmoray.com. Duplicate purchases are also refundable within 7 days.
