We're delighted to share this full interview with Lisa Manson, the third featured artist in AON: THE GATHERING.
Lisa is a proud Shetlander, and this is a truly heartfelt conversation with the well known Scottish presenter and broadcaster Richard Gordon. She speaks with warmth, sincerity and quiet grace, offering a beautiful insight into who she is, where she comes from and the sense of place that shapes her voice.
There is real depth in Lisa's words. Her pride in Shetland comes through naturally, and so too does the feeling, honesty and character that make her such a special part of this project. It is an interview full of soul, and one that captures the person behind the music with real elegance.
Lisa Manson: The Interview (Short Edit)
"There is real depth in Lisa's words. Her pride in Shetland comes through naturally, and so too does the feeling, honesty and character that make her such a special part of this project."
"Muddy Bay is the Scandinavian name for Lerwick. It's fire, sea, land, farming, crofting, the Viking presence. It's the whole very proud to be a Shetlander. That's how I hear it, and I think other Shetlanders will feel the same way when they listen."
Above is the short edit of Lisa's interview with Richard Gordon. Below is the full-length interview, filmed on location in Shetland and directed by Calum Youngson and David Sheret. It is also available on Finn Moray TV.
