Finn Moray has been confirmed as a corporate sponsor for An Evening with Paul Lawrie, in conversation with Richard Gordon, at Aberdeen’s Tivoli Theatre on 13 April 2026 at 7.30pm.

Paul Lawrie, the 1999 Open Championship winner, is one of Scotland’s greatest ever sportsmen. But for Finn Moray founder David Sheret, it is what Lawrie consistently gives back to the north-east that stands him above many.

Sheret said: "What Paul does for people in the north-east goes way under the radar. He’s one of Scotland’s greatest sportsmen, but for me it’s what he consistently gives back that stands him above many. We’re delighted to be supporting this evening."

Lawrie himself expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: "Great to be involved. Looking forward to the evening."

The Event

The evening will see Lawrie in conversation with BBC radio and television presenter Richard Gordon, a long-standing friend and collaborator of the Finn Moray project. Gordon has led the featured vocalist interviews for AON: THE GATHERING and continues to play a key role in bringing the project’s story to a national audience.

Finn Moray joins Gym Rental Company and Morrison Motors Turriff as corporate sponsors for the event.

The evening takes place at the Tivoli Theatre, Aberdeen, on 13 April 2026 at 7.30pm.

"Scotland has a creator class that deserves to be taken seriously. People who build audiences through craft, consistency, and character, and who often carry community on their shoulders without ever calling it that. The Finn Awards is our way of recognising that work properly, with heart, and with a structure that ensures the value flows back into Scotland through each winner's chosen charity whilst also supporting and recognising them."
